Downtown Employee On-Street Parking Permit Program

Vancouver’s Downtown Association (VDA) is making it easier for downtown employees to get parking permits. As of July 2020, employees can go directly to the City of Vancouver and no longer have to be pre-approved at the VDA office.  For those who qualify, the cost of the monthly permit is $20.  The parking permit zone is located here: (link to map)

 

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Be an employee in downtown Vancouver
  2. Have an hourly wage of $20 or less
  3. Have no outstanding parking tickets

 

How to apply

  1. Complete the application found on the Parking Services website (click here)
  2. Email application and proof of hourly wage (example: copy of pay stub minus any personal information like SSN) to csfinance@cityofvancovuer.us
  3. You will be contacted on how to obtain the permit

 

Please note that the permit must belong to the employee, not the employer.
