Southwest Washington Winery Association Labor Day Weekend Annual Food and Wine Pairing Event
Wine enthusiasts are invited to sample small plates paired with local wines at 16 different participating wineries and tasting rooms.

This Labor Day Weekend, September 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, member wineries and tasting rooms of the Southwest Washington Winery Association in Clark and Cowlitz counties will hold their annual Labor Day weekend food and wine pairing event. Wine aficionados are invited to visit individual tasting rooms in Clark and Cowlitz counties to sample local wines and small plates specifically created to pair with those wines.

As Michael Broadbent- British wine critic and writer said: “Drinking good wine with good food in good company is one of life’s most civilized pleasures.” Participating wineries and tasting rooms will create special offerings of wine and small plates to show the wonderful synergy of the right food pairing with their wines. As part of the event, attendees can pick up a passport card at any of the participating tasting rooms. Printable cards are also available online. Each business will stamp customers’ attendance, and after getting 3 stamps, they can turn in their card and be eligible for a drawing of one of 3 gift certificates redeemable at any of the participating businesses.
