Golden Moment on Main Street: Honoring Local Businesses at the Main Street Promise Groundbreaking
Main Street is the heart of our community, and today, we had the pleasure of celebrating the businesses that help make it shine! As part of the Main Street Promise groundbreaking celebration, we honored Kelsey and Jon Jennings of Ronald Records and Crystal Humble Larry of Eryngium Papeterie with special “golden” shovels, in recognition of their invaluable contributions to the event.
The Main Street Promise is more than just a construction project – it’s a commitment to revitalizing our cherished downtown, ensuring it remains a vibrant, accessible, and welcoming space for everyone. This initiative is about investing in the future while honoring the rich history and character that make Main Street so special.
As construction progresses, we extend our deepest gratitude to the resilient and passionate local businesses that continue to serve our community with dedication. Their perseverance and support are what make Main Street a thriving hub for connection, culture, and commerce. With golden shovels in hand, these local business owners symbolized the bright future ahead for Main Street, where growth and community thrive together.
We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the City of Vancouver for providing the golden shovels and capturing the memorable moments from this special event.
