For the second consecutive year, Vancouver proudly participated in one of the most cherished traditions of the Pacific Northwest, the Portland Rose Festival Grand Floral Parade! After returning to the parade in 2024, following an absence of over 30 years, we are excited to announce that this event is officially becoming a beloved tradition. We are committed to building on this legacy with heart, creativity, and a strong sense of community spirit.

Our 2025 float, “A River Runs Through Us,” celebrated the beauty and power of the Columbia River, an enduring symbol that connects our lands, cultures, and communities. From its stylized waves to hand-cut salmon and vibrant blooms, every detail pays homage to the river that shapes our region.

Built with Hustle, Heart, and Teamwork

This float was not created overnight; it was crafted through long hours, late nights, and a strong sense of teamwork. Over 10,000 flowers came together in a design led by Megan Arambul of Fieldwork Flowers. The float is floral-forward, featuring delphinium, garden-grown berries, backyard greenery, and native plants that reflect the richness of our environment.

We owe a tremendous thank you to the Vancouver Downtown Association, the City of Vancouver, Tieton Homes, and Menashe Properties, along with an incredible team of volunteers who contributed their energy, talent, and passion to every step of the process.

Special thanks to the teams at Visit Vancouver, Hilton Vancouver Washington, and the many community members who stopped by, rolled up their sleeves, or simply cheered us on.

A Float to Remember

The final touches were added late Friday night. On Saturday morning, our driver took their place, and the float rolled out as the Grand Floral Parade got underway. Following behind was Vancouver’s very own Mega Band, bringing spirit, rhythm, and pride to the streets of Portland.

It was an unforgettable day, and we are so proud of how we represented our city.
