VDA Launches Block Captain Program
VDA is thrilled to unveil the Main Street Promise Block Captain Program, in collaboration with the City of Vancouver!
Our dedicated Block Captains will serve as volunteer ambassadors for the Main Street Promise project, ensuring that residents, business/property owners, and visitors are well-informed and engaged. They’ll be sharing the latest project updates and gathering valuable feedback from their respective blocks.
Last week, our Block Captains met for the first time at Short N’ Sweet, identifying tactics to best communicate with their block to ensure timely delivery of project information and feedback.
Join us in giving a warm welcome to your Block Captains:
500 Block: Marcus Griffith, resident and VDA employee
600 Block: Alex Luna, business owner, Kindred Homestead
700 Block: Marianne Wilson Stein, business owner, Dandelion
800 Block: Dean Irvin, property owner
900 Block: Brett A & Makayla O, business owners, Clash Beauty, Beigeblond Salon
10th Block: Crystal Humble Lary, business owner, Eryngium
11th Block: Janet Kenefsky, Greater Vancouver Chamber
12th Block: Elise Chelak, project corridor employee, Pahlisch
