The City of Vancouver is expected to begin construction Feb. 14 on the second phase of the Broadway Corridor Improvement Project, a major project to replace aging utility infrastructure and repave Broadway from 6th Street to 13th Street. Completion is currently expected in summer 2022.   This project will: Improve efficiency, reliability and resiliency of utilities serving Broadway Street businesses by installing approximately 1,340 feet of new sanitary sewer main line and 1,600 feet of new water main line. Upgrade 18 existing curb ramps where needed

On Oct. 21, the Vancouver City Center Redevelopment Authority (CCRA) selected LPC West, the west coast arm of national real estate firm Lincoln Property Company, as the development team to move forward with planning and development of the Waterfront Gateway.
